RUN! is a piece intended to evoke the full energy of the Paul Eluard's poem Nearer to Us. The use of a secondary pianist beating on the inside of the piano like a drum is a strong effect that will excite anyone listening. The piece's short duration makes it easy to put virtually anywhere in a program.
